L’Archiduc was deeply honored to welcome the legendary Lew Tabackin, a true master of the tenor saxophone and flute, to our stage. Known not only for co-leading the iconic big band with his wife, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Lew Tabackin has also spearheaded numerous unforgettable ensembles, including his remarkable trio featuring bassist Boris Kozlov and drummer Mark Taylor.

Lew Tabackin performed with Philippe Aerts on double bass and Mourad Benhammou on drums, demonstrating a level of artistry that transcends generations.

It was a privilege to witness this masterful musician, and we are grateful to have shared such an extraordinary evening with our audience.
