Live Session at L’Archiduc – Thursday 29 May 2025
We had the pleasure of welcoming Koenji Hyakkei to l’Archiduc for an unforgettable live session!

Known for their complex polyrhythms, operatic vocals in an invented language, and daring blend of rock, jazz, and avant-garde, the Tokyo-based ensemble led by Tatsuya Yoshida delivered a performance that truly pushed the boundaries of modern progressive rock.

From their groundbreaking debut in 1994 to their latest « Dhorimviskha » (2018), Koenji Hyakkei continues to stand as one of Japan’s most innovative musical acts, and last night they proved why.

A huge thank you to the band for their mesmerizing performance and to all who joined us at l’Archiduc for this special night. We can’t wait for the next time we get to experience such a masterpiece in motion!
