In a world that is always moving too fast, Grégoire Gerstmans invites us to slow down and breathe. A Belgian pianist from a family of musicians, he has spent years exploring the virtues of silence, slowness, and contemplation at the heart of his musical universe.

His debut album Hypnagogie [PIAS] draws us into a suspended state between wakefulness and sleep, with minimalist, luminous, and introspective music—somewhere between Arvo Pärt, Satie, and Joep Beving—yet marked by a completely personal signature.

Already welcomed at venues such as Le Botanique and many festivals (Jazz à Liège, Festival au Carré, Visé Piano Festival, Emerge…), Grégoire offers unique sonic journeys designed to reconnect body and mind.
