He has been seen and heard on The Late Show with David Letterman, and on air at BBC, NPR, KCRW, and KEXP. He has played at The White House, Madison Square Garden, Bonnaroo, Montreal Jazz Fest, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Summerstage, Wakarusa, Molde Jazz fest (Norway), Bestival (Isle of Wight), Willisau (Switzerland), and other festivals in Italy, France, Finland, Poland, Brazil, Canada, Nigeria, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Greece.
He has also worked in film with directors Shonali Bose (Amu), Michael Allen (I Can Hear You Calling), and Sol Tryon (The Living Wake).
