Simalenge Mashazi Sextet
Simangele (aka Sima) is a vibrant voice artist with strong background in music (where she first discovered her voice) and previous experience in theater. The nature of her voice is both gentle and reassuring as well as energetic and animated. She previously worked as a presenter and news reader at MFM 92.6 which is where her career as a voice over artist began.
Her sound is warm and engaging, lending itself easily to soft sell, narration, conversational, informative and educational materials. Her bubbly and animated nature allows for versatility in the portrayal of characters.
Voice clients include: Cape Town Fish Market, 4home.co.za and Telkom Mobile, Optinose Nasal Spray as well as the Numbers Sense mathematics program.
She is fluent in both isiZulu and English and conversational in Afrikaaans She has done Zulu voice overs for TransPerfect (US) and most recently, a Covid-19 awareness announcement for Ukhozi FM.
