Voodoo Swing

For over two decades Voodoo Swing has been blowing audiences away with their unique, hard hitting brand of roots, rockabilly, and blues music.
Founded in 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Voodoo Swing has put out 7 albums, two singles, appeared on numerous compilation albums, and toured the world extensively. 2016 finds founding member, singer, guitar player, and song writer, “Shorty” Kreutz teaming up with long time member Tommy Collins on the upright bass, and newcomer Walter Spano manning the drum duties. Arguably the most potent trio that Voodoo Swing has ever had, this group is ready to hit 2016, and hit it hard!
One of the standout rockabilly acts to come out of the rockabilly revival of the early 1990’s, Voodoo Swing’s first album, “We’re Usin’ Code Names” was released on the legendary British rockabilly/psychobilly label, Nervous Records. This stellar first effort brought Voodoo Swing to the attention of roots music fans all over the world. Their sophomore album, “Well, Okay Then,” released on Holland’s “Rockhouse” label continued the momentum that Voodoo Swing was building all over the world. In 1998, personal circumstances lead to Voodoo Swing ending that era, with the three original members going on to do other musical projects.
