In 2000 we reniew the fabric of all the seats. This is the fabric used to restore the seats of the train used as decor for the film « Murder on the Orient Express »; British film, directed by Sidney Lumet, released in 1974. It is directly adapted from the eponymous novel by Agatha Christie featuring the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.
The fabric was manufactured by Algemene Fluweelweverij in Ledegem.
